Artists: Sigga Soffía

Sigga Soffía was born and raised in Reykjavík. In 2016, she graduated with a BA degree in creative music communication from the Iceland Academy of the Arts and is currently studying for a master's degree in Art Education. Sigga Soffía works as a choir director at the singing school Domus vox. 

“Working on what I love most about life is such a privilege. I meet about 250 girls and women weekly at choir rehearsals and together I create this beautiful and nourishing harmony. In addition to singing, I have spent a lot of time coloring water and making almonds. Sometimes I also take pictures of beautiful flowers that fascinate me… and then create this ancient form that I am so fascinated by. "

In addition to the choir director's job, Sigga Soffía founded the company Blómkollur.
