Artists: Sara Höskulds 

Sara is an artist and art teacher. Creativity has been a part of her everyday life since she can remember. Drawing and painting brings her peace and is her way of forgetting the hustle and bustle of the everyday. When she draws, she forgets everything else and can lose herself for hours. She draws inspiration from nature and wildlife, and likes to experiment with different mediums, although she mostly works with black pen and water-colors.

“I had just finished enrolling in a teacher training program when I found an old elementary school project where I had to answer a question about where I thought I would be in 30 years. I had answered that I would become a mother and an art teacher because I wanted to encourage and show kids that everyone can create and become artists. That's exactly what I love about art, that we can all create. It's just about finding the material, style and subject that appeals to you. So it's only the will, interest and practice that matter. Today I am the mother of a two-year-old little girl and a qualified art teacher."
