Artists: Jana Birta Björnsdóttir 

Jana is a biologist and works as a virus researcher at the National Hospital of Iceland as well as teaching part time at the University of Iceland. She is also a member of Tabú a feminist movement which focuses on discrimination against people with disabilities. Art has always fascinated Jana, but she finally took the time to learn the basics a few years ago and has been fascinated with watercolours since then. Many of Jana's works are inspired by her experience as a disabled woman in an ableist world. The pictures that are for sale here aim to show disabilities and disability aids in a positive light.
