Bara (e. only/just) is a filler word that is often overlooked, but it can be very decisive in how a particular statement is to be understood. Bara is translated as only but can also mean: just because, somewhat, it does not matter and no problem. The word has the ability to emphasize other words or soften the message of a sentence. Bara is used a lot in everyday talk, where the literal meaning of bara is not the reason for the usage. The aim is rather to pause or emphasize something. Bara is also used to downplay the subject of conversation, often in an attempt to portrait humility. By using bara, one can steer a conversation from something formal to a more casual friendly talk.

The series Orðlaus (e. Wordless) examines the role of interjections in the Icelandic language, as the meaning of the words can vary according to nuances and situations. In the Icelandic language, interjections are often said but less often written, but they are an important part of the Icelandic language. With the poster series Orðlaus, interjections are given the spotlight.

All words are in A3 size, and are available in both black and white and color.
