Artists: Herdill

Herdill is an artist living in Reykjavík born in 1999. She has studied art since she was a child, including at the Reykjavík Academy of Fine Arts and MyndAk, but she graduated from the visual arts program at Fjölbrautaskólinn in Breiðholt in 2019 and is currently studying art at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. She works mostly with oil paints but has been tinkering with computer drawings and illustrations for the past year. She works a lot with subjects that are very physical and / or psychological and things that have deep roots in human nature. She also works through her own feelings and experiences in her artistic creation and often looks deep into her own shadow in search of inspiration.
