Artists: Berglind Rögnvalds

Berglind Rögnvaldsdóttir (b.1985), photographer, was born and raised in Reykjavík, but has worked in Oslo for the last 7 years. After graduating from Bilder Nordic school of Photography in 2018, Berglind has participated in major art festivals in Norway; Collective Fashion Art, Fushion Oslo and Nordic Light Festival. Berglind has done a lot of work that relates to women and how society sexualizes and objectifies them from a young age. Her works have a certain feminine feel, and a feminist voice.  She also uses nature as a metaphor to meet contemporary gender politics.
