From a larger work in which fragments of text from different Murakami books were rearranged into a new narrative of the relationship between two women.
Since the vast majority of his books are about the relationship between a man and a woman, I wanted to see how I could change the meaning of the words by avoiding using sentences that mention the gender of the main character.
