“Another thing that homeless people have in common is that they are less likely than people who are not homeless to seek health care when they need it. Reasons for this can be reduced access to health services due to costs, opening hours and because it is difficult for individuals to get to the services they need (e.g. with regard to transport), and due to prejudice and lack of communication by health care staff (Eiríksdóttir and Marvinsdóttir, 2009) . This also applies to health services for sexual health issues. Sexual health issues that homeless people do not seek health care for may include various infections or sexually transmitted diseases, contraception, discomfort during intercourse, help after sexual assault, etc."
